旋流器是一种重要的分离分级设备，旋流器利用离心沉降原理进行工作。当待分离的两相混合液以一定压力从旋流器周边切向进入旋流器内后，会产生强烈的三维椭圆型强旋转剪切湍流运动。这种运动使得粗颗粒被甩向旋流器的壁面并沉积下来，从而实现固液分离。
